Website Migration Update
I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

What excuse did you and your friends use to tie each other up?

For me, it was mostly with my childhood friend, let's call her Piper. We used challenges, bets, and dares as excuses to tie and gag each other all the time.

Mostly, it was war games, or commandos, Cops & Robbers, or spy games, where we’d take hostages; and then we’d tie each other up as an excuse to add a bit of realism.
A lot of the time, these games took place on the properties of friends who had a LOT of land…more like a small farm, or with woods or forests, depending on who’s house.
One friend had all sorts of structures littered across their big backyard…a barn, a warehouse, a scrapyard, a shed…so when we played these games; there were plenty of places to stash a hostage. We’d stalk each other with fake rifles or Nerf guns; and then get the jump on each other, before taking prisoners.
I’d made a suggestion to tie a hostage to a chair, when we were inside the toolshed; and then we used the rope and duct tape in there.
After that, it became a semi-routine part of the game…not always; but easily introduced when the materials were on hand. : )

It was just "let's see who can escape faster or come up with the more secure tie". The challenge was that we didn't use secure rope but my martial arts belts which are fairly easy to loosen up.
I'd love to hear about those stories! Want to post them in the true stories section?Mimic-Al wrote: 3 weeks ago For me, it was mostly with my childhood friend, let's call her Piper. We used challenges, bets, and dares as excuses to tie and gag each other all the time.
As for me, I've gotten very few tie-ups growing up.
In third grade, I came up with "let's tie someone to the pole with jump rope" out of nowhere, and we kids tried that, but not for long. Only one day.
In sixth grade, there was clothesline outside attached to a pole at my babysitter's house. Her daughter was my age. I came up with the idea of doing tie-ups to the pole with the clothesline, and later, pretend kidnappings indoors.
In high school, asked some girls if I could tie their hands with the removed coat pullstring from my coat. I got a few takers.
A few years after college, I asked a former classmate if she could come visit (I forget what caused that). She did, and during the 3 hours she was over, I spent one of them tying her up after I asked her. (She knew I was into it.) I took many photos.
And that's it.
Not much of a writer but I write a quick version of my first TUG experience.
Piper and I were very competitive since we were young starting from being in the same martial arts club. We would wrestle and try to pin each other down trying to make the other person give up all the time as we were both stubborn. It normally ended until we tired each other out.
My first experience was during one of these roughhousings when Piper was 11 and I was 12. At that time I knew I had an interest in tying someone up since I would always be interested in cartoons that had characters being captured and restrained. During one of our usual roughhousings we were in the backyard wrestling until finally I was able to pin down Piper and using the utility rope that was near our shed I tied her hands behind her back and her ankles together, as kids do I gloated about my victory which didn't last long because she was able to get out since I wasn't good with knots yet and tackled me to the ground until it was my turn to tie up which I also was able to escape pretty easily.
From this experience, Piper and I would compete to improve our knot tying skills until we were able to make it impossible for the other to escape.

Ah, a simple story but I see how it played out! Cool. Did your games ever extend to anything beyond a competition?
How about a story about a time you tied and gagged her?

When I was a kid, I would play "kidnap" with my friends from time to time. Between 6 and 13, this is about how it went down: viewtopic.php?p=209011#p209011
