A Complicated Victory
Carlo explained the game from his perspective as Luke untied him.

“It was me and Selim.” Carlo said, “you were right about me trying to untie him.”

Selim smiled, looking over from the coffee table where he was untying Seth.

“Shit.” Luke said, “wow you really were at a disadvantage for most of the game.”

“Oh yes,” Carlo said, “within one round I was all alone. Selim had suggested tying you because you are good at these kinds of things and might figure us out. I agreed, it made sense. Until I found out during accusations that apparently you two spent the last two weeks keeping each other prisoner. Now a target is on Selim's back and there's nothing I can say without looking suspicious myself.”

“Yeah my bad,” Selim said.

“I'm mostly mad I wasn't invited,” Carlo said, “to the prisoner thing you did. I want in next time.”

“That can definitely be arranged,” Luke said, “we actually have some big plans for Rolland's place.”

I made the false claim right after Dasol had been so suspicious, so that even if people didn't trust me, they would trust Dasol less and I'd have a round to figure something out.”

“But, you took Chet out pretty quick though.” Nahum said.

“Yeah I'd hoped to keep him in longer,” Carlo said, “but Jeremiahs true claim scared me, and enough people seemed to believe it. Taking out my own guy was my way to push the blame on Jeremiah. I also remembered Harry and Chet having a bit of beef early in the game, and thought whatever Harry might do to Chet would give me time to help release Selim. It was a gamble, trying to release someone, but the walls were closing in. I needed him free or we would both be fucked. I was able to loosen him just a bit when Chet was getting tied, and then I subtly moved his arms and legs a bit while I was sucking him off to give him a little more leeway.”

“Didn't feel like victory,” Carlo said, “but I'm happy with the game I played.”

Carlo stood up off the couch and stretched. He looked around the room at the many men still tied up that he could have fun with.

“You played well,” Luke said, “sorry we had to pull the rug out from under you. But hopefully now you can have some fun.”

There was a tiny pause, a single breath, before Carlo, Selim, and Nahum lunged at Luke and wrestled him on the couch. Carlo held Luke's arms behind him while Selim pinned the cursing and struggling detective down.

Nahum tied Luke's wrists, then wrapped rope around his chest, arms, and midsection to make a harness. Carlo stripped Luke until he was naked again, then forced one of Luke's legs to bend so Nahum could tie it in a frog tie. The other leg was left stretched out, but tied off to the bottom of the couch.
