PART 15
Indeed, it was not long before Rui entered the room. Romeo had continued to try to free himself from his bonds, but to no avail.
Rui smiled the kind of smile at him that made him wish he'd be anywhere else.
"Well, since you're useless as a horse as well, I've changed my mind about what we'll do with you for now. Here's my new proposal."
He moved closer until he was at eye level with Romeo.
"You're allegedly an escape artist, not that we've seen a lot of that, either. Now you can escape for your life. We'll put you through seven... situations. If you can get out of any three of them, you're free to go. If you're not out by the end, you're going to disappear. You'll be trained until I get you back as my prized stallion."
Romeo felt cold shivers run down his spine.
"You're probably thinking 'But I'm famous! People know me! I'll be missed!'. That's where the other part comes in."
Rui held up a tablet, pressed play on the video. It showed scenes from his various shows, with a new voiceover.
"You've known Romeo Motango as an athlete, a cowboy, an escape artist. But now he is facing his biggest challenge yet."
Romeo heard his own voice say, "This one is do or die."
He stared incredulously as the trailer presented what Rui had just explained to him. Seven of the most harrowing escape challenges, streamed live to his adoring audience. How he'd decided to remain bound and gagged throughout, even when the cameras were off, to stay in character. And at the end - success, or retirement from his career.
"When you fail, nobody will wonder where you've gone. They'll be sad, or angry, but you won't be found."
Rui grabbed Romeo by the back of the neck, forcing him to look directly into his eyes.
"I also know you're thinking about putting up some resistance. You've seen what I can do. You're getting tied up one way or another, the question is whether we need to paralyze your vocal chords so you can't scream in pain all day. None of that'll be necessary if you cooperate. Plus you'll be fed!"
He reached into Romeo's mouth and pulled the balled-up cloth from it.
"I bet you're hungry and thirsty right now."
He smiled again, then released Romeo and took a step back.
"Nod if you agree."
Romeo couldn't do so fast enough.

After he'd had paste and water fed to him through the open-mouth gag and been allowed to relieve himself, it was time for the first challenge.
"Let's start with something fun," Rui stated. He marched Romeo outside, where a large wooden device had been erected. It looked like the medieval version of a St. Andrew's cross. The others were waiting for him.
He was stood against it, still handcuffed. The wood had intentations that were meant for a human body, and as they pushed him against it, it hugged his form; it looked like the thing was swallowing him.
Leather rope encircled his ankles, then was threaded through holes in the side of the wood and tightly tied off at the back.
They continued up his legs, welding them to the cross. He could move his toes in the boots as much as those allowed, but no more.
When they reached his waist, Rui grabbed him by the chin again, sticking one thumb into his mouth.
"Remember what I told you," he warned, then let go.
Romeo did not resist as he unlocked the cuffs. His arms were positioned in the grooves, putting him in an X shape, and strapped the same way as his legs, wrists to shoulders.
Additional, thicker straps followed around his chest and waist, and they pulled those even tighter. Finally, one went over his forehead, and he was completely helpless.
The group departed to get the cameras set up, but Warmed lingered.
"I still owe you one," he grinned.
He produced a bandanna and approached. He stood very close, his raised knee brushing against Romeo's crotch. To his horror, Romeo discovered he was already fully erect.
Warmed slowly, slowly inserted the bandanna into his mouth, grinding against his erection the entire time. Romeo started to breathe heavily despite his situation.
"Your training's going to be so much fun," Warmed whispered. "I can't wait."
He grabbed Romeo through his jeans with one hand, started to loosen the ascot with the other. As he slowly pulled it from his panting prisoner's neck, he mercilessly brought him over the edge. Romeo grunted as he came inside his tight jeans.
Suddenly very fast, Warmed wrapped the ascot around his mouth and tied it off tightly.
Then came a leather muzzle that was padlocked onto his head, further silencing him and ensuring that, even if he could free himself, he would not be able to restore his ability to speak.
Warmed placed the stetson on Romeo's head.
"Good luck!"

Some minutes later, Blessing, Promise and Freedom arrived with the cameras. There was some setup, including a countdown timer, and the live stream started.
He had six hours to escape. Six hours to endure, coming down from the post-orgasmic high.

Rui's plan is genius, using Romeo's fame against him. I think the fact that his escape attempts will be broadcast will add a stress factor - whether it will motivate him or distract him remains to be seen.

Romeo was so engrossed in his struggle that he didn't listen to what was being said to the livestream at all; thus, the first bucket of ice cold water that hit him came as a shock.
He yelped into his gag.
"Again, that was a five hundred donation from Joe and Rachel, who say 'Here is a refreshment, you can do it!'"
Apparently they'd set up donation goals that would further torment him, and he hadn't heard a single one of them - not that he could do anything about that.
He continued to struggle, trying to loosen the leather bonds holding his arms in place. Several more buckets hit him over the next two hours, and he noticed that each time the leather got wet, it would first distend, then dry into a more strict hold.
"And we just had the TEN THOUSAND donation from... Romeo's very own talent agency! Looks like they're very sure he'll be able to handle this challenge!"
Rui approached him, beaming widely, a blindfold in his hand. He made a big show of releasing the strap around Rodney's head and fastening it around his eyes. To Romeo's surprise, he did not replace the strap.
Not being able to see when the cold water was coming did not improve his mood, but the state of the leather bonds did. Every time he was splashed, he strained against them with all his strength, and it seemed to him that he was able to distend them a little further each time.
"Three hours left!" Rui announced.
Undeterred, Romeo continued to work against the bonds.
Then, suddenly, two of them snapped simultaneously.
He was able to use the additional leverage this provided to break several more straps, which gave him enough freedom to yank the blindfod off, just as a double barrage of water hit him.
From that point on, it was just a race against time. Using the same method, and with the help of his free arm, it didn't take him terribly long to release the other one. The rest was trying to untie all the knots and undo all the straps before the clock ran out.
He was numb from all the cold water, and there seemed to be no end to the donations, but it was this or becoming a horse slave; he had never been more motivated in his life.

He undid the final strap with 7 minutes left on the clock. The camera crew seemed disappointed, but Rui was still beaming, approaching him the second he was off the device, clapping him on the shoulder and resting his hand there.
"Well done, Rodney! That's one down, two to go. We won't make it this easy tomorrow!"
What the audience couldn't see was Rui's fingernail casually resting on a neuralgic point; applying the slighest pressure was enough to almost nauseate Rodney, and his captor was clearly ready to inflict pain if he should resist.
A metal chain went around his waist, hand and leg cuffs were applied, and Rui marched him off as the crew shut down the cameras.

He led Romeo into a similarly barren room as he'd been in before. This one had a prison-style toilet and washbasin, as well as a bed.
"In case you're thinking you can use this stuff to escape, I have sour news."
Loum entered behind them with a bulky device that he spread out on the floor. To his horror, Rodney realized it was a leather sleep sack.
Rui removed his restraints, made him strip, and waited for him to slip inside. There were sleeves for his arms, and Loum made very sure they were stuck in there before they zipped it up.
Next they flipped him over and pulled rope going through its numerous eyelets, lacing the bag up tightly.
There was some preparation ongoing before they rolled him back around. He quickly found out they'd moved him on top of a number of leather belts as they pulled them taut and buckled them.
Together, they lifted him onto the bed. A chain from the headboard was padlocked loosely around his neck.
He groaned audibly when another set of straps appeared from the side of the bed and merged his already-immobile frame with the mattress.
They fed him the humiliating gruel and left him.
Romeo tried to struggle against the restraints, but his body was leaden from being so tired, and he quickly gave up and fell asleep.

I've been a bit neglectful for the past couple of weeks but am catching up now. Just read up to the end of chapter 6 - the failed hanging.
Lots of fun so far. Romeo definitely seems to know the ropes and I love how he's slowly learning more about his cast mates and uncovering their kinky perversions.
Love the inclusion of traditional cowboy setpieces (maybe we can end with a full blown train robbery!).
Always nice to see Wary, I mean Will, tightly trussed up but it feels like things may have just taken a turn against Romeo.

The little touches made this chapter great for me- the donation incentives to keep up the charade of the escape challenges! And Romeo's Talent Manager making a personal donation to needle his client (former client?) was fantastic!
