Someone taped her mouth as an exercise in silence. Sounds like it could be a lot of fun!

That was an interesting article to read. However, the main objective of the article can be achieved without the use of the mostly symbolic duct tape for the author's experiment (think of some monastic orders where members take on a vow of silence -- mostly perpetual, but there are exceptional circumstances that allow them to break silence).

It may seem like a fun way to "stealthy" go about one's day publicly while playing out one's kink for being tape gagged, but for real-life scenarios I'm always keen on continuous, enthusiastic informed consent of ALL involved. Surreptitiously placing individuals into a topping position, unbeknownst to them, over oneself, is at best unwise, even if it is apparently harmless (and potentially exciting) fun.

@tiedinbluetights Totally. Funnily, someone in the comments mentioned doing it full-time. She may have a kink for it but it looks like she enjoys it for just being silent in general. However, the person who wrote the challenge didn't do it in public.

Doing it with a partner sounds like it could be fun, because you could combine both of those elements.

The tape would make it easier to remind her not to speak. Without it, she'd be more likely to forget and accidentally speak.

I usually think those of us here are too likely to think everyone is just going to use this as an excuse to tape their mouth shut. She goes into enough detail about the taping itself I do think she at least found it somewhat fun, even if not for the same reason most people here would.
