Stories of Tie Up Games

Hi!! First time posting on here, so apologies if the story is dull :,)

When I was in high school, I was cast in the musical and I got to be bound and gagged onstage. In the second act, my character was kidnapped and held hostage. I spent a good hour onstage tied up, and it was exhilarating. I had thick rope wrapped around my wrists, waist, and legs, and a big white cloth was used to cleave gag me.

I had always wanted to be a damsel in distress; it was always really intriguing to me, and this experience was so exciting. I would struggle against the ropes and make small cries through the gag, and I felt truly helpless.

I’m hoping to have more experiences like this one, it was really fun to be totally helpless!

If you can remember any further details, I'm sure people would be interested. For example, were you free-standing or tied to a pole or chair, were your hands behind you or in front or at your sides, can you remember what musical and character you were performing, did any of your co-stars seem to enjoy your situation, did you experience any physical discomforts while bound...?

What was the name of the play?

When I was in high school mumblety-mumble years ago, we did "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman". Lois Lane is supposedly tied to a chair. However, in our production she just held her arms behind the chair holding a rope. (As I recall, it was because Superman is supposed to free her just by breaking the rope with his powers, so she couldn't be tied for real.)

@rosexxx soinds fun, what play was it? Glad you enjoyed it. Was that the start of you TUG adventures or were you an eager volunteer to be tied and gagged?

Sounds like fun! I don't think I could act but being tied on stage I could probably manage

A theatre troop close to me did a play once where one of the actresses had to be tied to a chair and put behind a screen. From my understanding, stage hands were there to help her if she couldn't get free on her own.
