Stories of Tie Up Games

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker for a little while and decided to say hello. Bit nervous.

My name is Charlotte, I'm from the UK (Manchester) and actually experienced a home robbery when I was younger. I was OK, but it is something that sticks in your mind and still remember vividly. I'm 32 now.

My parents were at work and I was home with my sister (Saturday morning), a man broke in and robbed the place, leaving us both tied up. It is without doubt the scariest thing I've been through. It went on for over 2 hours.

Anyway, I thought I would share my story. Nice to meet you all.

How old were you when this happened? Having never been in this position before, I’m not sure how I’d ever react to being tied up after that. Can you speak to that at all? If not, I understand!

Oh wow that puts it into perspective! Glad youre okay, and like others have said, happy to have you!

What a horrible ordeal! The important thing is neither you, nor your sister, were hurt. Was the thief caught?

It's great this hasn't negatively affected your attitude towards tying games. And welcome to the board:)

I hope you're doing better, sounds like a horrific ordeal to actually experience.

Ah man, I’m so sorry to read this. It’s a very scary, personal thing to share. We talk a lot on here about funny stories, childhood games, fun with partners etc but this is something else entirely.

Very brave of you to tell everyone about this. I’m sure people would really like to hear more about your story, but be careful you’re not triggering yourself.

Sorry to hear of your experiance when you were younger. But as everyone else has said. Welcome. I been here for 7 months after spending years reading and have found everyone so approachable and friendly.
