Don't know whether it fits into your bullet points, but years ago, my then girlfriend and I house sit my sister's house while she went on holiday. We had a bit of tie up fun whilst there.
A couple of weeks later, the next time I saw my sister and brother in law, he handed me a neck tie that they had found under the bed.

Most embarrassing was probably when I was in my girlfriend's apartment, which was in a Scottish tenement in Aberdeen.

She had already tied me up, hands and foot bound with silk scarves, while she used ice cubes on me.

It was a very exciting experience to say the least, she had turned the lights off and the only illumination was from candles placed around the room.

Anyway, she let me have my turn. I tied her hands behind her back and her ankles with the same scarves. I also cleave gagged her. I then decided she deserved ice cubes too, and I walked to the door so I could get to the kitchen. As I opened the door, the smoke alarm immediately went off and I'm standing in the corridor stark naked! There's beeping and I'm panicking trying to hit the reset button on the alarm which is mounted in the ceiling.

All this is of course is of massive amusement to my girlfriend who is laughing her ass off through her gag. In between laughs she makes muffled instruction like sounds. I'm still jumping and down, naked and imagining the fire brigade arriving. I remove her gag and as I do, the alarm stops.

The smoke from the candles had apparently built up, not to a level that either of us had noticed, but sufficient to trigger the alarm as I opened the bedroom door. My jumping up and down and the general dissipation of the smoke had eventually allowed the alarm to stop.

Much embarrassment, I reapplied the gag and got to work with the ice cubes as revenge.

I like to meet my bondage partners in public first to get to know them. One time, I was meeting someone at a packed coffee shop and as soon as we sat down she blurted out “So you like being tied up?!” really loud. People definitely heard and I was beyond embarrassed haha.

Yeah, I was embarrassed for a while. But it worked out in the end because she was very good at tying people up so I got a lot of bondage time out of it haha

This one is rather mild. So I like "dressing up" during my self bondage sessions while the Mrs. is away. I think she at least has a clue either I'm into self bondage or that I at least play around with the gags as ever so often when she leaves she asks me am I going to "play with my toys" while she's gone. However as far as I know she knows little to nothing about me dressing up for the part.

Recently I've been doing a lot of dressing for the part, and on this particular occasion I had a French Maid outfit. Now under normal circumstances I do a pretty good job of taking care of evidence. This particular time my wife found an incriminating lace wrist accessory that somehow found its way into my dirty clothes hamper. I tried sheepishly to play it off, and she acted like she bought it, but I think she's put two and two together. In a way I'm hoping she did; it will make things a lot easier for me if she's full aware of my feminization kink(being that she already knows like 6 other kinks I have anyway, what's one more right? )

The most embarrassing moment for me, was the two times I was being discovered tied up and gagged, while my wife and her ex was having fun. The first time I was discovered, a neighbor to the cottage where we were playing, came in and just wanted to tell that the light in our car was on. Second time was at Home, my wife and one of my friends was having fun, while I was tied up. But another friend of mine came by, because he was in the area, and I didn’t answer the phone

Many years ago I got caught in self bondage by my dad when he came home early from work. He didn’t say anything just went to his bedroom to change out of his work clothes. We never spoke about it and I have no idea if he told my mum.

Haha I’ve had some close calls but thankfully never been caught (except like once when I was a little kid but hey, start early!). The most embarrassing thing I think that’s happened to me while tied was once not too long ago, I was doing some naked self bondage and had to pee so bad I had to hop into the hallway and bathroom, lean over and pee before having to hop back. Thankfully, I was home alone!

The most embarrassing moment for me has to be when my cousin taped me up and the camera broke. I asked her to let me out, I wanted to play video games. However she left me taped up to the point in which I was yelling through the gag. I was so mad for the next two hours that by the third hour I calmed down and she came into release me.

I was left struggling in my room for like half an hour but I didn’t want to call out and admit she’d got me.

Eventually, red faced, I had to ask her really nicely to let me go. She made me beg for it

Hmm maybe not a wardrobe malfunction, but I did have this funny moment one time with my ex gf.

She had spent the better part of 15 minutes taping me to a chair for a bit of fun. Ankles taped to the legs and lap strapped down to chair. Just as she finishes taping my arms and chest to the chair, I feel the urge to use the bathroom and sheepishly ask if she can untie me.

She had worked hard to tie me up and didn’t want to undo all her hard work, so we settled to untape my legs, leaving me to hunch over still strapped to the chair at my lap and back, to go no. 1.

Needless to say, we both had a good chuckle at my predicament

Closest to embarrassing I've gotten was I was locked in the stockades at my local Renaissance Faire when I was 12. I had tomatoes thrown at me.

The faire was usually pretty fun. Can't say it was one of the better ones. It was held at the summer camp I used to work at. But it usually was a pretty good time!

That's actually pretty hot.

Grace was in her straitjacket, ankles tied. One of the cats was at the front door, insisting he be let inside; I told her to let him in. She stood and began hopping; however she was more than a bit drunk and stoned. She lost her balance, fell over and broke her wrist (a hairline fracture, but still).

We head to the ER and she's checked out. The orthopedist keeps asking how this happened, as the fracture doesn't come across as a normal "fall" fracture. She's probably thinking abuse, so I looked at Grace, she nods, and I tell her what actually happened.

She tried to act professional but smiled and half-laughed. "Well I suppose you should be more careful with that sort of thing," she said.

"Absolutely; no more hopping around while straitjacketed," I replied, looking at Grace.

Close call for me and my wife had when we first started dating. I had her tied up in my apartment bedroom. The maintance guy let himself in to fix something. Had a full on conversation with him while she was bound and gagged in the next room. Lucky for me the gag held I held I guess and she didn't want to get caught.

I’ve never had anything crazy embarrassing happen, but I think it would probably be super embarrassing if someone walked in while I was struggling and they saw how much I was loving it!

It involved a motel room, a Riddler bodysuit, me being bound hand and foot and in a rope chest harness and gagged, a very slippery comforter and being thrown on the bed and the spandex and the comforter rendering me frictionless and sliding across the bed to plummet it off it on the other side.

There were a few times growing up where I played tie up games at friend’s houses; and their parents or siblings walked in while either I or my friend were tied up.

Once, was with my friend’s older sister (who thankfully didn’t even think much of it; and briefly participated).

Another time, my friend’s mother walked in while I was sitting on the floor in my friend’s basement, my ankles bound together & my wrists tied behind my back by him; and a bandana I’d used to gag myself beforehand.

My friend explained the game, and his mother thought nothing of it…but I was a bit nervous that she might pass it along to my parents later (and apparently, never did).

A update to this one, I've been super sloppy with my escapades lately , to the point my wife definitely knows about my feminization kink now. At this point I'm not sure how much of it was unintentional and how much of it was kind of wanting to be found out. Last month was quite a bit of mistakes on my part. I feel like a big congratulations is in order…this is great to hear! I’m thrilled to hear that your wife is not only “unbothered” by it, but it sounds like she’s been enjoying seeing this side of you as well. What kinds of conversations have you had with her since then? Maybe she can help you with your online shopping (perhaps she might have some recommendations or things she would like to see you in)? Have you “come clean” with her in that, yes, you do lots of self bondage and enjoy dressing the part? Obviously, I don’t know your situation—but if she’s okay with your feminization kink (and apparently lots of others!), then it doesn’t seem like she would react any differently to learning more about that (other than just making sure that you’re safe, which is completely reasonable). Again, congrats…I know this is probably “weight off your shoulders”, as it were.

As for your concern on “how deep I go into this thing and how complex of an individual it’s turning me into”—I wholeheartedly share this exact sentiment! I’m of the opinion that as long as what you’re doing is safe, consensual, and doesn’t lead to your kink turning into an obsession or addiction (in that it doesn’t begin negatively affecting your life), then most anything should be fair game. Enjoy the ride of self-discovery…however wild a ride it turns out to be.

The more conversations I’d had with people, the more I began to realize that it’s not just me that that has a “dark” (if you want to call it that) side—I’m now beginning to think that most everyone does, in one form or another. After all, we’re all complex, multifaceted humans with all kinds of interests, passions, and desires in life. Life would surely be boring if we were all one-dimensional beings with one-layer deep thoughts and emotions!
