Can’t decide between the 80’s and 90’s. That’s when many of my favourite bands were in their prime, some with now deceased members. Would be amazing to see them live.

Okay…so, I’ll answer this two ways. If “going back in time” means that the whole world with everyone in it reverts back to a previous decade, which keeps current family and friends intact—then I’d choose the 90’s, without question. Otherwise, if going back means reverting back to a previous time in your life (I was in high school in the 90’s), then I’d absolutely stay where I’m at. For the purposes of the poll, I’m went with the first meaning.

It’s probably just the nostalgia about the “good ole’ days” that everyone has growing up, especially in the really formative years of life. But, for me…the 90s were the perfect mix of both the digital and the analog world. The World Wide Web was just getting started. In its infancy, the Internet just hit differently. It was full of personality and character…new and interesting sites at every corner. And you know what wasn’t there…ads! No ads to be found! No sterile, lifeless, bland corporate websites. No fake news, no clickbait, and no AI-generated content.

Oh, and if you wanted to be part of the Internet, you had to have—rather, build—a homepage. And that meant coding straight-up HTML with your own two hands. There was no Facebook, no Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter. Even before the days of MySpace…there were sites like Tripod, Angelfire, and Geocities.

…what were we talking about again? Sorry, I think I digressed. Anyway, yes…if I could bring my family back to the 90s and live though that decade again, that would be awesome. All that and a bag of chips. Da bomb dot com, even.

I'd go back to the 1490's, to Italy, mostly as an excuse to wear tights in public.

1950s...I liked the way people dressed back then...still classic (Cary Grant "North By Northwest," jacket/tie, suits) but giving way to the more casual (James Dean "Rebel Without A Cause," white tee, cuffed jeans)...

And old school bondage...rope, white handkerchiefs and bandana gags.

Love the roomie cars of the 50s...big trunks and backseats where you can hide a beefy, bound and gagged man!

The 90s was the greatest decade, but I lived through that the first time.

The 1960s for me. Something different. Seems like a very interesting time to have been around.

The 90's were a more innocent time for me. I was an elementary school student then.
I'd love to play with Kimberly again. (There was 1 summer where it was just her and me. Alone all the time)

I agree with @KidnappedCowboy . The style of the 1950s was ideal for being in bondage. Classic suits, neckties, simple rope, handkerchiefs... and it falls a bit after the invention of duct tape.

For me it was coin toss between the 90s and 2000s, and it landed on 2000s. But now that it did land on the 2000s, I'm wondering if I would have prefered the 90s. There are some solid arguments in favour of the 90s in the comments. Hmm, last time I'm leaving my TARDIS coordinates up to blind chance.

50s and 60s women wore the best damsel outfits.

I was born in the mid 90s, but for some reason, all my favorite music, television shows, and movies are from that era. All my favorite sports teams were good in the early 90s, too, which can't be said about present day.

Not really surprising. The 80s and 90s are known to spawned the most classic and iconic hits, whether it be rock, pop, metal, rap, new age, etc. The film and TV industry was also at its very peak in the 90s.

I'm a relatively young guy, born in the last year of the 90s, so I don't have much nostalgic memory of that time, although I know a lot about that decade and even the 80s. But if I could choose, I'd go back to the 2010s. It was a cool phase for me.
