Amanda Rollins, (Kelli Giddish), is a sergeant assigned to the Special Victims Unit after moving to New York City from Atlanta, Georgia. Between 2022-2025, she was an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Behaviour at Fordham University before returning to the NYPD and becoming sergeant of the Intelligence Unit and finally returning to the Special Victims Unit in 2025.



She has three kids including two daughters, Jesse, the father being Captain Declan Murphy; and Billie, the father being her former boyfriend Al Pollack.

She is currently married to ADA Dominick Carisi Junior and also following her three year departure from the Special Victims Unit. Together, they have one son, Dominick 'Nicki Carisi the third during this time.



Early in her time with SVU, she had a gambling problem and was $20,000 in debt with a bookie. Captain Donald Cragan chose to get her help instead of firing her and she has since been attending Gamblers Anonymous meetings. Rollins's also has a younger troubled sister Kim, (Lindsey Pulphiser), comes to New York, causing problems for Amanda while she is trying to work a case. As well as a drug addiction Kim also needs medication for her severe mental health problems.



Later, Kim returns to New York beaten by her ex-boyfriend and claiming to be pregnant. Later on, she gives two versions of the supposed pregnancy; on one hand, Amanda finds out she had lied about the pregnancy, Kim confessed that her period had been late causing her to think she was pregnant and on the other, she tells Nick Amaro her colleague that she had lost the baby. When Amanda hears screams from inside her apartment, she finds Kim's ex-boyfriend beating Kim, and Amanda shoots and kills the man as he pulls a gun on her.



After her initial interview with IAB Lieutenant Tucker, Kim changes her story, including revealing a life insurance policy on the ex-boyfriend with Amanda's name on it. Later on, it is revealed that Kim forged Amanda's signature because she thought that it would look suspicious if she was the sole beneficiary. Kim's change of story from rape to accident is the result of finding out that neither she nor Amanda would get a penny from the insurance company if they found out that Jeff had died committing a crime!



The supposed evidence of Amanda shooting Jeff in cold blood leads to Tucker arresting Amanda in Cragen's office. The charges against Amanda are later dropped when Amaro tapes Kim confessing to setting Amanda up. Before Kim can be arrested, she steals everything from Amanda's apartment and disappears!



Rollins is shot by a sniper in front of the precinct. Her shooting leads back to daughter of Detective Tutuola's narcotics partner, who is out for revenge on the NYPD after her father was injured on the job by protecting Tutuola from a bullet. Rollins is caught in the middle of a case in which her friend from Georgia claims to have been raped. When the alleged rapist is killed, her friend is put on trial and Rollins' personal life is revealed on the stand. This proves too much for her to handle, and she is seen gambling, smoking, and drinking in the final scene!



Rollins gambles at an illegal gambling station where she is forced into the office of the owner after the waitress tells him she is a cop. After this, she is forced to work for them, so she won't get exposed to her partners and her job. Amanda is told to steal a gun from evidence and later is caught by Detective Amaro from videotape surveillance. Later in the episode, it is revealed that he is Declan Murphy is in the NYPD, arresting everybody in the room. At the end of the episode, she would have been transferred if the unit wasn't short-staffed, as quoted by her Sergeant Olivia Benson, (Mariska Harrigaty).



Eventually, the truth of why Amanda left Atlanta is discovered that Amanda agreed to be a "good girl" and sleep with Deputy Chief Patton to get her sister off the hook per Patton's request. She was only able to admit to the rape when one of her fellow former Detectives from Atlanta was raped by Patton. It's possible that Amanda also left due to rumours that Amanda came up with the idea to sleep with him to advance her career.



It was revealed that Amanda was pregnant by September 2015. She never told the rest of the squad, though this was deduced by serial killer Greg Yates, who taunted her about it and It is later revealed that Declan Murphy is the father of her baby. While Amanda is in labour, she suffers a placental abruption, almost resulting in her death. However, she survives and delivers a healthy baby girl she calls Jesse.



She reveals to Benson that she is pregnant with a second child a few years later, the father being Pollack. Rollins has become close to both Nick Amaro and Carisi and sexual tension has been hinted at between both of them, including a possible romantic relationship between Rollins and Amaro and possible romantic feelings between Rollins and Carisi. When Rollins is revealed to be pregnant, she states that it is not Nick's baby, showing that they at least slept together. However, Rollins has often fought with Carisi and Amaro over certain cases, disagreeing with their opinions. This often becomes heated and makes their relationships complicated.



Carisi and Rollins are constantly mistaken for dating, as noted by Rollins' father, (Who beat his wife and abandoned his family) while he is in the hospital and by hospital staff when Carisi accompanies Rollins to appointments when she was pregnant with her daughters. After Carisi gets promoted to ADA, Rollins and Carisi's relationship becomes more strained, Rollins telling Carisi that she misses him. Eventually, Rollins asks Carisi to share his wedding officiating speech with her, as Finn and Phoebe had decided to no longer get married. Carisi shared his speech, speaking about "partnerships" at work are equivalent to marriages. Rollins is brought to tears to which Carisi comforts her. Rollins finally realizes that she has deeper feelings for Carisi, ultimately leading to Rollins kissing him.



In 2019, Rollins revealed to her shrink that her dad had called her after fifteen years and invited her to his wedding to another woman. She was later kidnapped by Detective and Friend during her private therapy session with Alexis Hanover, (Amy Hargreaves) and binding and gagging both with silver duct tape, after a Judge declined to press charges against a rich villain, who was grooming Bucci's daughters. Eventually, after calming him down, Rollins convinced Frank to drive to the SVU precinct, where Rollins arrested Frank. She then broke down and cried in Carisi's arms, traumatized by her ordeal!



In 2020, Rollins was promoted to Detective 2nd Grade for her excellent work. Then In 2021, Rollins came back to a case after a ten-year-old boy called Henry, she previously helped institutionalise for his Psychotic trendies was released from juvenile detention on his eighteenth birthday. Rollins told Henry she had been worried about him and that she didn't want him to die. However, Rollins and her daughter Jesse were stalked and harassed by Henry, with Henry having several photos of Jesse on his phone. Rollins became even more angry after Henry had stabbed Carisi with a pencil in court. After Henry was imprisoned, Rollins visited him and angrily told him that she lied about him not wanting to die and told him that she did indeed want him to die and then warned him that if he ever stalked or came near her family again, she would kill him herself!



While trying to protect a witness, Rollins was shot by an unknown hitman while escorting Nicole out of witness protection. Rollins was rescued by Officer Dawson who shot the suspect before Rollins could be killed. Rollins was taken to hospital where she was treated for the wound.

During the trial of a famous singer called Austin Boyer, Rollins was violently harassed by fans of Boyer while walking out of the courtroom at one stage, with one female fan yelling and heckling Rollins for arresting Boyer. Rollins was immediately escorted to an elevator by the courthouse security guards who held the fans back. Rollins, feeling extremely overwhelmed and dizzy, stood with her back against the elevator wall with wide eyes watching the fans try to get into the elevator. Feeling overwhelmed with work, when Billie and Jesse thought there was a monster in the closet, Rollins pulled out her gun and checked her closet only to find a dog toy which was making noises!



The pressures of the job made Rollins decide to temporarily leave SVU and become an Expert Professor at University. Then Rollins and Carisi decided to get married, and the wedding was witnessed by Benson, Tutuola, and Velasco. Following one final case in which Benson and Rollins bonded closely, Rollins told Benson while the two were having fun in Benson's motel room that she was leaving the Special Victims Unit to become a professor. This deeply upset Benson, which resulted in the women having a mild fight due to their differing opinions on the subject, with Rollins leaving Benson's motel room during the fight. Feeling bad for her reaction, Benson tried to contact Rollins, but she wouldn't answer her phone. Rollins eventually met Benson in her office and the two reconciled before sharing a hug while crying. Rollins then walked out of Benson's office while the officers in the squad room clapped and cheered for Rollins. As Rollins hugged an officer, she looked at Benson and the two smiled at each other. She left behind a dead chipmunk that was encased in glass which served as a reminder of her to Benson.



After her retirement from the NYPD, Rollins became an adjunct professor of Criminal Behaviour at Fordham University and eventually became pregnant with her third child (Carrisi's first).In April 2024, Rollins resigned from her job at Fordham and helped profile and catch a rapist targeting brides on the night before their weddings. Following the conclusion of the hostage siege, Rollins and Benson both noticed that Carisi was traumatized and upset by the hostage siege and what happened in the bodega despite Carisi telling them both that he was fine. Both Rollins and Benson showed concern for his mental health, noting that Carisi definitely wasn't okay.



Rollins after having such a difficult life and upbringing know work as a Sergeant in a specialist unit for the NYPD and as a specialist university speaker! While having a successful marriage and three brilliant children she couldn't be happier! The same can't be said for her best friend growing up, Izzy Rodgers, (Tricia Helfer)!



Little is known about Izzy's early life as she kept it that way, other than she somehow became a sadistic, manipulative villain. She also once mentioned to that she had a grandfather who was "a scary man". In her adult years, she became a lethal assassin and, in 2004, murdered an ambassador at Scotland Yard in London, England. The only clues to the murder were a stash of fake ID cards left behind in a car previously stolen by her. The assassination was investigated by Agent Emily Prentiss, (Parget Brewster) and her international JTF-12 team. Izzy also presumably killed additional victims as an assassin. While in Chad in 2008, during a civil unrest occurring there at the time, Izzy met Matthew Downs, a U.S. Marine who suffered from PTSD and had established anarchist ideals against the U.S. government. The two became lovers and constructed an elaborate plan to attack Washington, D.C!



After making deadly test runs of homemade bombs in N'Djamena, the capital city of Chad, killing thirty people, mostly at a church and a train station, Izzy then began conducting bank robberies all across the world to fund for her and Matthew's attack, killing a random hostage during each bank robbery. Arriving in the U.S. to continue the funding phase, Izzy recruited amateur bank robbers and brothers Chris and Oliver as her accomplices, reshaping them into efficient criminals. The trio began committing bank robberies in areas making a straight path to D.C. During these robberies, she continued to shoot a random hostage before fleeing. All the while, Matthew would operate behind the scenes, his involvement not being known to Chris and Oliver!



Arriving in D.C. on May 12, 2012 (the fourth anniversary of the N'Djamena bombings), Izzy is first seen putting on lipstick and texting 911 before walking into the Colonial Liberty Bank with Chris and Oliver. The three pass the metal detector gate, which detects Chris and Oliver's guns. When a security guard comes over to check on Oliver, Izzy pulls out Chris' gun and kills the guard before the trio swiftly put their masks on and rob the bank. Izzy intimidates the customers and times the robbery while Chris and Oliver grab the money. A police cruiser containing William LaMontagne Junior and his partner, Detective Jodi Ketelson, unexpectedly arrives, having responded to the 911 call, forcing the three to finish up quickly. Chris and Oliver try to leave through a side door, only to be confronted by Will and Jodi. A gunfight ensues, with Jodi being killed by Oliver and Oliver being shot and injured by Will. This forces Chris to retreat inside the bank with the wounded Oliver in tow. Among the hostages is none other than Matthew, and only Izzy is aware of it!



With Oliver badly wounded, Chris begins negotiating with Rossi for a medic in exchange for some hostages. Wanting to prove that they mean business, Izzy coldly shoots and kills Zack Hansen in front of his daughter Reese. Later, Rossi tells Chris that a medic is on the way, stating his and Oliver's names in the process. Chris relays to Izzy the authorities' knowledge of their names. Knowing that her identity isn't exposed, Izzy taunts the authorities by taking off her mask, looking at a security camera, and putting on lipstick. Finally, a medic, Travis Green, is sent inside to mend Oliver's wounds, but Oliver dies before Green can take action. Green then pulls out a gun suddenly, actually being an FBI agent, but Chris kills him before he can pull the trigger. Izzy and Chris begin debating on what to do now, to which Izzy suggests getting an armoured truck. She then tells Chris that he should have made Green's death slow by shooting him in the stomach like she always does. Chris then attempts to get an armoured truck and a plane (with no pilots) to Switzerland, which Izzy hastily changes to Chad. Since Chris doesn't have a pilot's license, the BAU assumes that Izzy will be the one to pilot the plane.



When Rossi calls again and tries unsuccessfully to turn Izzy and Chris against each other (the BAU having discovered Izzy's text to 911 and intending to use it as leverage), Chris decides to avenge his brother by having Will sent in. Rossi refuses the offer, to which Chris forces Shawn Harper to pick up the line and tell Rossi his name. When Shawn does, Chris then executes him before threatening to do the same process to the rest of the hostages every minute. All the while, Izzy takes pleasure from Chris' actions. Will finally walks in, tells Chris his name, and then gets shot twice by him, again to Izzy's delight. Three hostages, including Reese Hansen, are then released. Izzy then leaves to set a bomb she constructed, near the bank's gas mains. Chris suddenly arrives with Will at gunpoint (Will having survived due to wearing a bulletproof vest) and he asks what she is doing. Izzy simply replies, "You'll find out soon." The two then flee with Will while Matthew and some of the hostages simultaneously escape, right before the bomb explodes and demolishes the bank's interior, killing the hostages that remained inside and wounding or killing numerous bystanders and law enforcement officers.



With Will as their only remaining hostage, Izzy decides to use him as her and Chris' leverage, as well as an accessory to her and Matthew's plan, despite Chris' disapproval of her tactic. She then convinces Chris, who is confused about the bombing and holds her at gunpoint, to continue cooperating with her if he wants to get out of the situation alive. They force a medic to mend a gunshot wound inflicted on Will before she kills him. She then receives a call from Matthew, to which Chris stops the car and asks her what the real plan is. Izzy instead shoots Chris repeatedly, dumps him onto the street, and leaves him for dead. She then picks up Matthew, who greets a shocked Will. Will is then forced at gunpoint to drive to his and JJ's, (A.J Cook) house, where Henry is being watched by a neighbour. Izzy intends to "babysit" Henry to keep Will compliant as he and Matthew set a large bomb at Union Station. Izzy introduces herself to the neighbour as Will's cousin, while the latter adds that she'll be watching Henry before he leaves with Matthew.



As Henry draws, Izzy continues to watch security footage of the Colonial Liberty Bank to relive the robbery before Henry asks her to play hide-and-seek with him. Izzy decides to scare Henry with a "Ring Around the Rosie", but it doesn't work. She then tells him a story of her (presumed) grandfather, again to scare him, but it doesn't work either. Meanwhile, JJ and Rossi realize that the Villains know where Henry lives and race to the house. Rossi distracts Izzy while Henry hides himself in a closet, intending to play hide-and-seek with her. JJ arrives and holds Izzy at gunpoint, but is distracted by Henry calling her, to which Izzy gets into a fight with her. After a brief struggle, Izzy grabs JJ's fallen gun and points it at her, but she accidentally releases the magazine instead while JJ manages to unload the bullet in the chamber. When JJ is distracted by Henry again, Izzy kicks the agent away and scrambles to get Henry, but is quickly subdued by JJ and arrested by Rossi. Meanwhile, Matthew's attempt at bombing Union Station is foiled when Prentiss disarms a bomb strapped to Will, while Matthew is shot and killed by Hotch when he tries to strangle Morgan.



It is revealed by Team leader Erin Strauss that Izzy's real name, unknown to the BAU during the day's events, had been disclosed during interrogation. She gives them her mugshot and adds that Izzy will be sentenced to life in prison after facing charges from the U.S. as well as the other countries in which she has committed murders.



Lady X as Rossi christened Izzy in his book would eventually escape and exact revenge on The Criminal Minds team JJ, Emily and Kate Callaghan, (Jennifer Love Hewitt) involving lots of bondage, control and sexual humiliation! This caught the attention on criminal queen pin Nicole Wallace, (Olivia D'Arbo) and led to her joining her team! (Please read Lady X joins the team for more on this!)



However Izzy was given a hit before all this by a corrupt New York businessman linked with the Mob that needed a witness to go away! A witness that Izzy had to eliminate but didn't know how too but had no choice or she would become the hunted? This particular very skilled mark was currently in a safe house guarded by Detective Megan Wheeler, (Julianne Nicholson) and FBI agent Theresa Lisbon, (Robin Tunney)? One NYPD Sergeant Professor Amanda Rollins!



Rollins had just come out of the bathroom after a relaxing bath. She had washed and tied up her hair and slipped on her pink panties and white bra under her pyjamas and entered the room expecting to see her joint protection to still be playing cards? However both Wheeler and Lisbon where stripped too there matching black underwear, bound hand and foot and tape gagged with stuffing! This worked great too stop the moans caused by the vibrating eggs in their vaginas set on high! Before Rollins could react the assailant in a NYPD police uniform for disguise knocked her out cold! Izzy spoke too her fallen foe and one time best friend in her ear. 'Missed me Amanda? I have missed you'!



'Earlier today Professor and Sergeant Amanda Rollins of the NYPD took the stand after a failed assassination attempt where the kidnapper come failed assassin blew up in an explosion so bad no DNA was left!' The News reader said as Izzy laid out on the red duvet of a queen size bed in leopard print underwear drinking champagne! 'Guess I am dead? They saved you Amanda!' Izzy said as she looked over at Amanda with her legs and arms zip tied too the legs and arms of a large fixed wooden chair? Amanda grunted into the black over the mouth cloth gag covering the wad of cloth stuffed in her mouth as on the chair an Hitachi wand pleased her!



'After her testimony was valuable in getting the head of the crime family sent down, Professor Rollins was unavailable to comment bizarrely? However from this reporter thanks for getting the villain off the streets!' Izzy turned the tv off and approached Rollins with a syringe. 'My friend pretended to be you very well, she is very Mystique in her ways! This way you remain a hero and I can disapear presumed dead and start again! Wonder how different things would of been if I wasn't faster than you?' Izzy removed the gag before knocking out Rollins with the sedative that would wipe her short term memory!



Rollins before this surprisingly leaned forward and kissed Izzy and said something that made her smile, 'It's true what they say, the friends you have as kids are the best friends you will ever have'!
