Hmm, the straitjacket and hogtied is a nice touch, even leaving them alone for a hour but that scratchy rope is just torture! Something fun thing I like to do, use e-stim. For a more relaxing scene, it helps keep the muscles from tensing up after a while in longer scenes. But if the sub is being a brat, well those settings can easily be changed to one's that aren't as nice. I guess for me self bondage is a sort of "time out" but I've had a couple girlfriends who were willing to put me in bondage for a punishment. Usually we'd start a roleplay like I'd forgotten to clean up some mess in the kitchen or left my clothes on the floor so I had to be punished. She'd march me to the bedroom and force me to strip naked. Love this sort of thing! Sometimes my gf would also put me in a hogtie with my metal cuffs and I'd be gagged, and sometimes blindfolded depending on if we were watching a movie or not. Just her reclining on the bed next to me while I'm all tied up like that was so hot. And I'm always naked or just wearing a jockstrap during bondage, whereas she'd be fully clothed usually, which adds to the humiliation factor in my opinion.
