Just like your wife, I really don't like the the sissification/feminization terminology as well as the whole humiliation aspect of it. Something about it has always rubbed me the wrong way. When I crossdress, I don't consider it humiliating at all, it's just me expressing another side of myself. Honestly, the whole sissification thing comes off as both misogynistic and even homophobic which is why I don't associate with that label in any way.
Amen. If I crossdress I don't want to look silly or stupid. I want to look like a hot woman.

Me too. It's not a body dysmorphia. I love the way I look as a guy.
But sometimes I get boobs envy. Wish I could do that "Being John Malkovich" thing only obviously a woman instead of John.

BTW. There are some great convincing fake breast you can buy. There is a person on vk (the Russian facebook) that post pictures of themselves crossdressed and tied up and the boobs look enormous and really great.
Haven't seen if it's available in 'black skin' version

100%. I'm not where I'm fine looking like a guy while wearing female attire. When I dress up it's to where I want to make myself up as indisguishable from a guy as possible. Used to be just a wig, lipstick and eyeliner pencil with a close shave was enough, but now I've evolved to fake lashes, eyeliner, lip plumper gloss, contour, eyeshadow, concealee(to hide what little facial hair I have left after shaving), highlighter. I lowkey watch people like Vladimir on YT to get the best tips(as he's a rock solid straight Russian guy that looks ridiculously female when dressed up) and I'm at the point now when by the time I finish(usually roughly 45 minutes to a hour give or take) I look so feminine it's like a whole other personality.

In a sense for me, it's actually fun to be someone else besides "me", even for a little while. I guess in a way it accentuates bondage, because when I tie myself up I don't see the usual hefty me but this tall curvy(corsets and pads with the right outfits) "helpless" bombshell staring back at me with pleading eyes. I used to be more into wrap gags but ever since I've realized just how plump my lips look naturally and more so after makeup I've grown to really like ballgags. I currently use a '2 regularly as others feel too small but I really want to see how I would look with a '2.75-'3. Just a matter of having enough $$ to spend as the only ones I've seen run nearly $100!

I've got some interest in this sort of thing. I like wearing stockings and over the knee/thigh highs socks, a corset, certain kinds of women's panties that have enough coverage for male anatomy, and I have a few kilts and skirts, even a pair of heeled boots. I'm not trying to look exactly like a girl by any means, but for me it's just fun. I think if you look way back to men's fashion from the Renaissance period all the way up to the beginning of the 19th century, you can see examples of many such things in men's clothing which for most of recent history has been regulated only to women's. I also like the femboy style that's become more widespread, but then also if you watch some designer fashion shows or look through a Vogue magazine you can often see more "feminine" elements being incorporated into male fashions. Unfortunately for guys like me not walking down a runway every day, most of it has to be kept to simply playing dress up at home. I'm not into the whole humiliation thing either. One famous online femboy in answer to criticism of crossdressing simply asked, "Yeah but what if it's really really fun?!" That's how I look at it. Don't know exactly what to call what I do, but I don't really care about labels. It's just fun!

Not sure who said that last phrase but I definitely share his opinion!
