OK, so Gino was being very compliant but I was starting to believe that I would have been better advised to have gagged him all the while he was pleading, calling me, “Sir”, and assuring me that he would be no trouble, but I thought blindfolding him would render him more helpless and there was no one around to hear him if he did decide to shout for help in any case.

In spite of the whining, I thought I should stick to the plan and lifted him onto a work surface. He sounded quite alarmed by that. “Look, Mush, shut up and put your legs together.” There was at least a short period of silence as I taped his ankles, but it was short-lived until I pulled him away from the wall he was leaning against. I put up with the noise as I taped his legs together just above his knees.

I looked at the roll of tape. There wasn’t much left but I thought there might just be enough to secure my captive’s arms to his torso. Yes, there was! The last of the tape should have made it more difficult for him to free his wrists.

Ya knows that it's in the rule book that all, repeat all, Kidnappees must bound, GAGGED and BLINDFOLDED while being transported to the super secret hideaway.

It appears that Gino might be getting special treatment in regards to this rule.

His carry-on was getting on my nerves but I did notice the first-aid kit that had been left next to the roll of duct tape. I reckoned there would be something in there that might have been useful. Yup, that stretchy white tape should do the job. I ripped a length from the roll, stretched it between my hands and suggested that my captive might be so kind as to, ”Shut-the-f@&k-up.” Sure enough, he did and I struck quickly but precisely. I smoothed the tape over his lips, towards his cheeks and even a bit under his chin. That sounded better.

The cry of surprise as I lifted Gino onto my shoulder was now a soprano wheeze and the staccato squeals that he made with each step as I carried him out to the Range Rover became fainter as he became used to being carried. Yes, I know it would have made more sense to have delayed binding his legs until after I had got him to the vehicle but that was not in the plan and, for reasons that will become clear later, I wanted to stick to the plan. (Yes, I know: OCD but there were other reasons.)

Obviously, Gino was not going onto one of the passenger seats; I did not fancy someone seeing a scantily clad youth bound and gagged as I drove him into captivity. He could just roll around in the back with the seats down; there was not too much junk in there. I drove around for about half an hour before stopping and letting him know that he had arrived at his cell. I also told him that he would be staying there until I’d had a satisfactory negotiation with his parents.

The muffled, and completely unintelligible, soprano squealing started again. It didn’t matter; there was going to be nobody around to hear him. The indignant squeals rose in pitch as I dragged him from the motor and the intermittent squeaks as I carried him over my shoulder to his place of imprisonment resumed.

I carried him up a few steps and dumped him on what even he could figure out was a mattress. I helped him to sit up and, without warning, I removed the tape that was blindfolding him. He looked round and saw that he was in his family’s summer house by the lake. He also saw his kidnapper.

Carrying Gino like a sack of potatoes must have been very tiring for a kinapper that has been working very hard all day long. I hope Gino is very appreciative of how well you have been treating him since you haven't even dropped him on his head once today. Gino will feel right at at his family's summer house 🏚, I suppose he could tidy it up since he knows where every thing goes.

It will be interesting to find out who the Kidnapper is; mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, neighbor or perhaps a complete stranger that did gis homework (deliberate pun).

I had stripped the “kidnapper” gear off long ago and I could even believe that, under all that tape, he was smiling. I could certainly see his eyes and the outline of his sealed lips. “Well, is that what you wanted?” He nodded as I went through the audit: “You wanted to be kidnapped in your nothings, taped up and gagged, and carried over someone’s shoulders to your fate. Is that right?” Gino nodded again and I added that I had thrown the blindfold in for free.”

He came as near to laughing as he could in the circumstances and I wished my brother a Happy Birthday for Sunday. I then used my muffler, that had previously covered the “kidnapper’s” lower face, to blindfold him, not that it would stay in place for long.

Stopping only to retrieve my fishing gear from the Range Rover, I told Gino that I was going to do a bit of carp-bothering and, if he had not escaped by the time I returned, that I was going to torture the crap out of him. That wasn’t really part of our plan but a big brother has to take his fun where he finds it.
