Website Migration Update

I moved the website to a new host, which I think will be more tolerant of the content this website hosts. Nevertheless, I do want to take a moment to remind everyone that the stories and content posted here MUST follow website rules, as it it not only my policy, but it is the policy of the hosts that permit our website to run on their servers. We WILL continue to enforce the rules, especially critical rules that, if broken, put this sites livelihood in jeapordy.

Lost Interests?

Post by Redman »

Has anyone ever noticed an interest they had fade? Maybe a favorite TUGS position just doesn't do it anymore? Or an outfit you used to love just bores you? I'm curious if I'm the only one. For me its handcuffs. I used to love them, but I hate them now.
I love to chat and roleplay. DMs are open.

Interesting question. There are certainly things I used to fixate on more but then my tastes changed but I wouldn't say I ended up hating anything. For me it is probably the opposite; not being keen on something initially but now very much interested in it. I would say chains and locks were somewhere down the very bottom of my interests, but for whatever reason now, I am more and more curious about trying.

As for handcuffs, I was never really into them beyond being a means to an end in self-bondage. Much prefer rope or tape or anything else that is a bit more comfortable to wear
I love all things bondage. Always up for a chat

Somewhat similar to @wannabetiedup, there’s nothing that I’ve grown to dislike/hate or bores me…but my specific interests can vary from week to week or month to month. Sometimes (and it can last weeks), I’m more into “comfortable bondage”, so I break out the leather more often. Other times, I’m more interested in highly secure bondage, which means getting out my chains and cuffs.

Okay, so as I’m typing this out, I can actually think of one thing that I don’t really do much of any more (not specifically bondage related), and that’s latex. I still have a few pieces of gear, and I still like them—but I don’t need latex like I do bondage. The upkeep (for me) also got to be a bit too time-consuming, so that might be part of it as well.

I've been thinking about this and I must admit only one thing comes to mind: writing my own TUG stories.

There is no other TUG related activity that I can think of that I have lost interest in or has faded over the years. More often, it is as others wrote and an activity I didn't give much thought to, becomes an added interest.

The writing my own TUG stories, however, has faded, sadly :(

It may return, eventually, but for now, I'm just feelinng too down about writing creatively. Seems to me that there is just too much interest and hype about consuming output from generative (I consider it more deriviative than actually creative) models (be it of language, image processing, whatever, ...)
