Agreed. I also find that dom/sub suggests that more than just bondage is going on. I wouldn't doubt that quite a few of us are interested in rope bondage but not in D/S relationships.

I like having wrists tied to the sides, perhaps a waist harness or tied together but attached to the waist. If the arms are longer, tying to the thighs may work better.

I like being able to see the subject's hands, make sure they aren't up to something. The chair arms are great if you can get them, but that style of chair is difficult to come by nowadays.
