I have no idea how I managed to elude this piece so far. I am not sure which part is my favorite, but I am sure that Tom's dialogue is certainly excellent, along with certain very good spots of the narration that I just fail to forget.

This was particularly ominous all the way through. The story drove itself to the very end just by teasing the reader - I could call this the slow version of a cliffhanger. I like it!

At some point we had this poll back on the old site too, but I guess it never hurts to take it again and again over time, especially now that quite a bit changed.
